A videoconference or video conference (also known as a videoteleconference) is a set of interactive telecommunication technologies which allow two or more locations to interact via two-way video and audio transmissions simultaneously.

Video conferences can be used in schools to connect classroom around the world. Students have the ability to contribute with other classes and students. They have the ability to communicate with the other participants in the conference. Some commonly used websites for peer to peer video conferences are Oovoo and Skype. Another great resource for teachers to use is the MAGPI system.
